The Internet Cafe - Pay as you go Support
The business could not afford permanent IT staff and so the Managing Director of the Internet Café approached us for help. He needed an on going support maintenance contract to assist in the upkeep of his equipment. Any problems would be responded to by us within the agreed SLA response time.
The Problem...
We provided the customer with a prepaid support option allowing the owner to pay for engineer time in advance. Any work carried out by the engineer would be recorded on a timesheet and approved by him. This time would simply then be deducted from the prepaid labour time.
This provided the owner of the Internet Cafe with the freedom to pay for support as and when they needed it. Response times and SLA's are of the same levels as a maintenance contract. This service is provided to give the customer the flexibility and re-assurance without being tied in to an contract agreement.
