Scan for malware

Malware is a big problem these days and is a reason for many computers running slow. Malware can get past anti-virus software’s so it would be advisable to run a malware scan on your computer.

Update Windows

-          Run Windows updates to make sure you get those all-important updates released by Microsoft

-           If your internet is running slow then maybe try to update your browser and the additional plug-ins installed like Adobe Flash Player.

Memory upgrade

If all the above fails to have a major improvement on your PC then maybe a RAM upgrade is in order, this will have a more noticeable difference on the speed of your PC.

Run registry cleaner

The purpose of a registry cleaner is to remove unwanted files from your Windows registry. These usually come from software that has not been removed properly.
