Cisco switches for business
Cisco switches power the networks of major companies all over the world. Your business can take advantage too.
The humble network switch is now the most important IT component in your business. If it fails then everything stops!
Likewise, if your switch isn't capable of handling the load everything slows down.
Cisco's switches are designed to minimise failure and maximum performance. Their mid-range switches are designed for longevity and offer many ways to enhance performance of your network - for example splitting voice and data traffic; isolating visitors.
Mid range switches
A mid-range switch fits the needs of the smaller company (5-40 staff), where everything can be housed on one robust switch. It offers the performance to handle voice and data together, along with the various streaming applications common today. You can still join mid-range switches together as the business grows but at some point stacking switches become a must (see below).

Stackable switches
Stackable switches really come into their own once the business grows to more than 40 people. At this scale your business needs multiple switches but still wants "one network" - where voice, wireless, video and data are all treated with optimal performance no matter which switch you are plugged into.
With stacking all the switches act as one unit. They have a high performance connection between them (no bottlenecks!) and a uniform set of rules and policies.
