ITS launches Windows 7 installation and support

North London-based ITS is now supporting Microsoft's latest desktop operating system, and can offer laptops and desktops preloaded with Windows 7. This version of Windows replaces Windows XP and Windows Vista on the desktops and laptops for many corporates.

Our helpdesk and monitoring infrastructure as been upgraded to support this new software. In addition we've been testing this new system with popular software like Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Server 2008 and Microsoft Small Business Server 2008. As a Microsoft Registered Partner ITS have been preparing for Windows 7 aince the summer.

Should I get Windows 7 on a new computer?

Yes, in most circumstances. ITS can supply Windows 7 certified desktops and laptops. However third-party software providers should confirm Windows 7 compatibility.

Is it worth upgrading to Windows 7?

There are strong reasons to upgrade to Windows 7 whether you have Windows XP or Windows Vista. Windows XP users will need to upgrade next year to continue to receive Microsoft support. For Vista, we believe the performance improvements justify the upgrade and any potential price tag. In many cases you may receive a free upgrade to Windows 7.
