The Graphic Design Studio - Email Solution
Email is vital for business, in today’s age many companies solely rely on email to function and without it can in often result in thousands of pounds in loss of revenue.
A successful design studio business needed to improve email functionality within the company. Their old system not only relied totally on the service levels of a third party company, but it also consumed valuable time and frustrated employee’s due to lengthy email transmissions. What made things worse was that when the third party supplier had a fault with their own systems it often meant a complete failure of their email service.
The Problem...
Two servers were installed. One acted as a primary server where all new email messages were delivered and stored. The other secondary server acted as a backup. Every the day the primary server would replicate information to the secondary server so that in the event of a failure the secondary server would take over. We continue to provide onsite weekly health checks on the systems to ensure that everything is working as it should
The solution that we installed solved their problem, it not only improved the efficiency levels within the company but also included a backup system enabling the business to process emails even in the event of a server failure.
